2023 Coastal Cleanup: Shoreline

Things You Can Do

For over 30 years, Marine Resources Council has been the Lagoon’s voice. We advocate for Lagoon restoration and preservation; actively restore shorelines and buffer lands; and inspire future generations of Lagoon-lovers through education and engagement. We are entirely supported by community members like you.

Thanks to our donors, members, and volunteers, MRC is working to Turn Science into Action. Join us in our efforts to save the Indian River Lagoon by following simple Lagoon-friendly practices, becoming a member or volunteer, or donating today!

Volunteer

Volunteers have been our feet-on-the-ground activists, mangrove growers, and water quality monitors for the last 30 years. Whether they are out in the field or here at the Lagoon House, volunteers are an essential ingredient to our success, and they have a blast while doing it! Care to join us?

Donate

Help show your love for the Lagoon by making a one-time donation to Marine Resources Council. Your financial contributions supports our Lagoon-wide efforts to plant mangroves along our shores, conduct science projects such as our citizen-science based LagoonWatch program, and education and outreach efforts such as Green Business and Lagoon Lifesavers.
