Join us for our March Brown Bag presentation with Sally Scalera, Urban Horticulture Agent and Master Gardener Coordinator at the Brevard County UF/IFAS Extension office. Learn how to create healthy soil to alleviate stormwater runoff and the leaching of nutrients, resulting in both healthy plants and a healthy IRL!

Sally Scalera graduated from Iowa State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Horticulture. With degree in hand, she left Iowa to work for a mouse! She started off in Florida working at Walt Disney World at EPCOT Center in landscaping. In January 1993 she joined the UF/IFAS Extension in Brevard County where she is the Urban Horticulture Agent and Master Gardener coordinator.
This event is free and open to the public; all attendees have to do is register online. If interested and able, we ask participants to donate $5 toward our guest speaker series. This educational series is a long-standing and cherished program of the MRC that is supported by volunteers and the community’s charitable giving. All donations are tax-deductible.
